Macnas, world-renowned pioneers of imagination and invention, bring a hauntingly beautiful, wild and tempestuous parade, Memory Song, through the broad and narrow streets of Dublin’s Northside, as part of Bram Stoker Festival 2017.
The city will be transfixed as the transcendental, the macabre, the profane and the magical is unleashed. A night time ballad populated with strange visions and ancient magic – the last waltz of light with shadow. Echoes and flickers of light appear and disappear.
We are led by an old mystic, who journeys onwards from this world into the next, following the song of the spirits. Memory Song is a celebration of life, releasing a constellation of possibilities into the night.
