Sleep No More – Macnas at the Bram Stoker Festival

Posted on: October 19, 2016

For the third year in a row, Macnas will close the Bram Stoker Festival – in association with Dublin City Council, Fáilte Ireland and Dublin Town – at twilight on Monday 31st October.

In what is set to be another breath-taking citywide procession, Dublin’s city streets will be transformed as the journey parades through Henry Street, giving audiences a real treat to experience a Macnas parade in all its glory.

We’re calling on audiences to gather from 5.30pm, as the parade makes its way from Moore Street through the streets of North Dublin City.

Everyone is invited to come out and play. Audience members are encouraged to dress up in costume and celebrate Samhain, where the membrane between the living and the dead grows thin.

Sleep No More is a restless ballad, a deliriously dark and delicious waltz between love and loss. Hundreds of colourful Macnas volunteer performers will transform and transfix, bringing a birth, a wedding, a funeral and everything in between, to the streets of Dublin.
